1. Who We Are

Misfits Guides (misfitsguides.com) is a community-driven strategy guide website for gacha games. The site is operated by an individual and is not a registered company.

2. What Data We Collect

We only collect data when you choose to sign in via Discord to use the League Schedule or Teams features. When you sign in, we receive and store:

  • Your Discord username
  • Your Discord avatar (profile picture URL)
  • A unique user ID assigned by our authentication provider (Supabase)
  • Any display name you optionally set on this site
  • League membership, role, and any events or teams you create

We do not collect your Discord email address, password, or any payment information. Visitors who do not sign in are not tracked and no personal data is collected about them.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the site's features:

  • Displaying your username and avatar in league and team views
  • Saving your league membership, role, and events
  • Saving teams you create

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or sell it to any third party.

4. Data Storage & Third Parties

Your data is stored using the following services:

  • Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Data is stored on servers managed by Supabase (AWS infrastructure). Supabase is GDPR-compliant. See supabase.com/privacy.
  • Discord — used for sign-in only. We receive the data listed above from Discord when you authenticate. See discord.com/privacy.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel may log request metadata (IP address, browser) for security purposes. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual users. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

5. Cookies

This site uses one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in after authenticating with Discord. This cookie is strictly necessary for the login functionality and does not track you across other websites. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing of your data

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Hungary: NAIH).

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you request deletion, we will remove your account, league memberships, and teams within 30 days. League events you created may be anonymised rather than deleted if other members depend on them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
